The Wheel of the Year

The Wheel of the year is an annual cycle of eight seasonal festivals. In nature all things are considered to be a perpetual cycle of growth and retreat, tied to the annual death and rebirth of the sun. Observing the cycle of the seasons and honouring the 'Earth Mother' has been important to people in both ancient and modern civilizations. Inspired by the eight Pagan sabbats, this epic 15 month long project was brought to life by the 'Lunaesque Productions' team.
